Day 1 (Sunday, July 5, 2025) – Playa Hermosa, Coco, Southern Papagayo - Depart Thunder Bay, connect through Toronto and arrive into Liberia airport and take a private transfer to Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar
Playa Hermosa: Conveniently located just a half hour from Liberia Airport (LIR), Playa Hermosa, Playas del Coco, and Playa Panama are the most popular beaches in the Papagayo area. Playa Panama offers a beautiful and relaxing beach destination from the north, where all-inclusive resorts line the shores. Playa Hermosa is just south of Playa Panama, offering the prettiest beach in the area, shops, and a few restaurants. Playas del Coco is the southernmost beach of the three, home to some excellent souvenir shops, restaurants, and bars.

Day 2 (Sunday, July 6, 2025) – La Fortuna - Private Transfer to our next destination, Arenal Springs Resort and Spa, with a stop at Rio Celeste for the Rio Celeste Tubing Tour on the way to La Fortuna.
Rio Celeste Tubing & Hiking: Experience thrilling tubing on a beautiful river with ideal temps, scenic rapids, lush forests, combined with a beautiful hike of Tenorio Volcano Park to Rio Celeste’s stunning waterfall. The highlight of the hike is the awe-inspiring Rio Celeste waterfall, where the river cascades from a height, creating a mesmerizing scene of water rushing over rocks and forming a pool at its base, and you'll also have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters of the natural pool, surrounded by the vibrant greenery of the rainforest. After relishing the beauty of the waterfall, the adventure continues when we drive to another site so you can gear up for the tubing experience where you will climb into an inflatable tube and let the gentle currents/gentle rapids of Rio Celeste carry you downstream. As you navigate the gentle rapids, you'll feel the thrill of the adventure, perfectly complemented by the sense of serenity that the Rio Celeste offers. It's an opportunity to experience the unique combination of excitement and tranquility in the heart of the Costa Rican rainforest.

Nature lovers can enjoy the jungle at the volcano's base, safari cruises, canopy-hanging bridges, and the beautiful La Fortuna Waterfalls. And of course everybody will enjoy the breathtaking scenery and soothing volcanic hot springs at our hotel after a day of adventure.

Day 3 (Monday, July 7, 2025) – La Fortuna - Safari Float by Kayak
Safari Float by Kayak: This wonderful morning tour on the Penas Blanca River will hopefully provide the option to spot sloths, howler monkeys, toucans, waterfowl, crocodiles, iguanas, turtles, and much more while floating down the river in your kayak. The Class 1 Penas Blancas River has a gentle current that will push you forward with little effort on your part, except to steer along the banks to look for wildlife. At the end of the tour, you'll stop at a traditonal family-operated Costa Rican ranch to taste tortillas, coffee and chocolate.
Day 4 (Tuesday, July 8, 2025) – La Fortuna - Free Day at La Fortuna to enjoy the hotel hot springs and volcano view and more!
Free Day: It is here that you will enjoy your included activity which you will select from a (to be) provided list and this will be a pre-determined date and time, and then you will have the rest of these two days to explore La Fortuna on your own. This is a fun little tourist-geared town with plenty of shops, restaurants, and activities. Explore the rainforest, volcano, or lake, or choose from one of many optional ($) activities.
Day 5 (Wednesday, July 9, 2025) – Manuel Antonio - Private Transfer to our next destination, the Hotel San Bada in Manuel Antonio.
Manuel Antonio: Are you ready for fun in the sun, exotic wildlife, and gorgeous beaches? Located on the scenic Central Pacific coast, Manuel Antonio is the perfect end to our trip. Sun worshippers will love the gorgeous jungle-lined beaches and vibrant sunsets. Nature lovers can get up close and personal with exotic wildlife in the national park and surrounding forest and luckily for us we have an included Private Tour of Manuel Antonio Park where we will hopefully see everyone's favorite, the infamous Costa Rica Sloth!
Hotel San Bada is a mere 1 minute walk to the national park, a 5 minute walk from the enchanting Playa Espadilla beach, and a short 15 minute drive from vibrant Quepos. The hotel offers breathtaking ocean and rainforest views and an array of amenities, including 3 swimming pools, a restaurant serving delectable cuisine, a fitness center, internet access, and a rejuvenating spa. Day 6 (Thursday, July 10, 2025) – Private Manuel Antonio National Park Tour
Manuel Antonio National Park Tour: As our hotel is pretty much at the entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park so we will walk over there to meet our guide. This national park is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world with its wide variety of flora and fauna, 4 different beaches of white sand, calm waves, and 3 different trails to explore that go from flat to very steep. On our tour, our knowledgeable nature guide will walk us along an easy 2 mile trail through the Manuel Antonio National Park, explaining the wonders of the wildlife and the forest within the National Park. Halfway through the hike, we will enjoy a snack break consisting of fruits and water, and at the end of the tour, you can choose to spend some leisure time at the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio Beach or Third Beach or exit the park to enjoy the town of Manuel Antonio or go to one of the public beaches.
Day 7 (Friday, July 11, 2025) – Canopy Zipline Adventure
El Santuario Zipline Tour: This is easily a favorite in the Manuel Antonio area. Their epic course offers Central America's longest zipline at over 4,300 feet, and with a total of 11 ziplines, 14 tree platforms, 6 hanging bridges, 3 nature walks, and 1 belay rappel for a total course length of 3.6 kilometers this is going to be an exciting day. This fun-filled adventure will allow you to soar through the air from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. The tour includes transportation to/from our hotel, guides, snacks, water, and lunch.
Day 8 (Saturday, July 12, 2025) – San Jose - Private Transfer from to our final hotel, the Hilton Doubletree Cariari Resort
San Jose: The capital city and heartbeat of Costa Rica, we should arrive early enough to explore this city at your your own pace or just choose to relax around the pool at our hotel. A good place to start exploring is the Central Plaza, which is perfect for people-watching. **Note: We will be making a stop enroute s you can pick up some last-minute souvenirs to take home.
